Is Paul from the Beatles dead? Was he replaced? That is a huge topic on the conspiracy circuit.
John Lennon Conspiracies are Probably Much More Prevelant and Mainstream as it is:
John Lennon was gunned down as he exited his Manhattan apartment. Some people believe the hit was made or orchestrated by the CIA in conjunction with the Congressionally Investigated CIA MKUltra experiments in “mind control.” The motivation they say is that Lennon was too powerful. They say he was too powerful a figure in the antiwar movement and more broadly in the Communist Movement. Whether you love Lennon and the Beatles or hate them, they were truly a tour de force.
Others have speculated, and perhaps wildly that because Lennon “named the Jew” as you can see below (~30 secs), that this was his downfall…
Frankly, there are numerous books and web documentaries made on the subject of both Paul McCarthy and John Lennon. Most are full of speculation.
It is this author’s opinion that it is not worth his time diving down rabbit holes. This author doesn’t even like The Beatles. It is, however, this author’s opinion though that it is sometimes fun to entertain such theories for entertainment
Was Lennon’s killer Mark David Chapman a patsy?
He liked the then and maybe still subversive book “Catcher in the Rye.”
Some claimed Chapman was “mind controlled and programmed in part with or “The Catcher in the Rye” book. For a time, “Catcher in the Rye” was considered highly subversive. Then again, one could make the case that “The Great Gatsby” is a highly subversive book. Gatsby acquired obscene wealth and threw lavish parties non-stop to woo a married woman. A dopey young man idolized Gatsby and became mentally ill much like Holden Caufield did in “Catcher in the Rye.” Both characters had poor morals. The thing is though, people don’t blame “The Great Gatsby” for the roaring 20s or the subsequent stock market crash. However, Sean Lennon, John Lennon’s son has blamed the U.s. Government for John Lennon’s death. He did so in the 4/20/1998 issue of the New Yorker which is unfortunately behind a paywall.
However, here’s an abstract:
(Sean Lennon) Mentions his contention that his father was victim of a government conspiracy
Whatever your belief – conspiracy or not – Chapman has been eligible for parole since the year 2000.
According to The Sun
He was sentenced to 20 years to life but has applied for parole on nine other occasions, every two years – all of which have been denied.
During Chapman’s last parole hearing in 2016, the board opposed his release because of the “premeditated and celebrity-seeking nature of the crime”.
He is believed to be mentally ill, and the court took into account his efforts to rehabilitate while in jail, during which he admitted that his crime was “premeditated, selfish and evil”.
It was a pretty cut and dry murder, am I wrong?
Interestingly enough, Chapman
told the court at his last parole hearing that he still receives letters from devastated Beatles fans about his crime, and said that during his time behind bars he had discovered religion.
Murder is never okay but in Chapman’s case, it is this author’s firm belief Chapman should not only be released but be given a medal for his service to these United States.
People still write him letters? Devastated?
Do they realize who is on the cover of Sgt. Pepper’s and how repugnant Yoko is?
